Rebecca Dearden is a multidisciplinary artist working in writing, directing, painting, and photography. Across all mediums, Rebecca often explores the minutiae and absurdity of everyday life and finds inspiration in ambiguous narratives, memories and relationships.
Rebecca received her Bachelor's degree in Photography and Art from Ithaca College. She worked as a producer in commercial photography for several years before applying her love of the still image to the film industry, where she is now focusing her producing efforts. More recently, her indie TV show, SUGAR BABY, premiered at Oscar-qualifying Nashville Film Festival and won Best Comedy Series at Catalyst Film Festival. She is currently in post-production for a proof-of-concept film "Finders, Keepers" with aims of developing it into her first feature.​

Rebecca's paintings have exhibited across the country, with shows at City Art Gallery, San Francisco Women Artists Gallery, Wave Collective Gallery, Four Chicken Gallery, and more. She is currently represented by Viridian Artists in Chelsea as part of their Young Artist's Program.
Rebecca is currently based in New York City and works as a freelance editor and producer.
